Exatron Stringy Floppy Update | by Bill Degnan - 12/24/2007 00:11 |
I have found a vendor for drive belts, and I have mailed out a snapped belt for analysis. The company is called Pyramid. I will post an update when available. I have four drives that need belts, and about 100 stringy floppies to read.

Belts size Exatron Stringy Floppy | by Bill Degnan - 01/09/2008 09:59 |
The belt size of an Exatron Stringy Floppy is smaller than .020 x .045 x 3-3/4.
I will order a smaller size, perhaps either 3-1/4 or 3-1/2 will do it. Reply |

Belt Replacement Exatron Stringy Floppy | by Bill Degnan - 01/23/2008 10:07 |
Today I received the 2nd round of belts from Pyramid, Inc. of Newton, IA.
This time I received two belts, sized .020 x .045 x 3-1/2 92A and 83A. They both worked initially, but the 92A seemed to "settle" better. If you call them to order the label belt 92A reads: .020 x .045 x 3-1/2 92A 89mm Updated Pics Reply |
