 The complete Microsoft OS/2 1.10 rev B disks for Compaq.
I am working to recover the 2nd install disk...unfortunately one cannot simply copy the IBM equivalent version, there is a hidden marker file that needs to be changed with a HEX editor before it'll be accepted as a correct disk by the install process. Reply |

After finally getting a working version of OS/2 version 1 running (using IBM disks) I was left with a pretty boring system. I returned my Compaq Deskpro 386s to DOS 5.0...but in the process I took a few pictures. The system has a Etherlink-III card installed. Reply |

The part/model number for the 1.2Mb 5 1/4" disk drive for the Compaq Deskpro 386s is the Cannon 61435-16. (NOT the 61432-65)
